A tricky way to hem jeans while maintaining factory stitching.

Hello everybody!
It often happens that the purchased jeans are a little longer than necessary. Sometimes even 1 cm plays a role in the fit. And if with ordinary trousers this question is more or less solved, then in the case of jeans the solution is more difficult to find.
Firstly, the thickness of the bending is very large and the machine may not take it, and of course, secondly, cutting the length, we cut off the edge, which is then difficult to process in the same way. There may not be suitable threads, or the edge itself in the case of worn jeans is difficult to reproduce.
I do not pretend to be the author of this method, for sure someone has already thought of it before me. I just want to visually share it with those whom he is not familiar with. So, first you need to decide how much you need to shorten the length.
When determining the required length, do not forget that the lower edging will remain. To make the stitch, I used a special foot with a guide, which is used in quilting.
This is necessary so that the line is as even as possible.
The line must be laid as close as possible to the original line of the hem, but in no case going to it. Then cut the excess fabric to a width equal to the width of the lines of the overlock or zigzag.
After that, process the slice.
Then carefully iron the seam on both sides, face and inside.
In the usual way, it would not have been possible to keep the factory stitching the bottom of the product. The seam is almost invisible. The process of wearing and washing will become even less noticeable.
P. S .: This processing method is not suitable for jeans with a large hem.
