After a walk in rainy or frosty weather it is so nice to have a cup of hot tea at home! And so that the tea does not cool down or brewed faster, sew a warm heating pad for the teapot.

YOU WILL NEED A number of tissue residues so that 30 squares with a side length of 7.5 cm can be cut out of them. Fabric for the back of the heating pad size. 37 x 28 cm. Lining fabric size. 37 x 56 cm. Braid 70 cm long with small pompons. Batting size. 37 x 56 cm. Paper for the template. 12 buttons.
Tip: instead of lace with pompoms, you can use lace ribbon, quilling, fringe, etc. As a result, you can change the style of the heating pad - from nostalgic to romantic.

SEW A TOWEL FROM SHIELDS From the rest of the fabric, cut 30 squares, each with a side length of 7.5 cm. Sew 3 long sheets, each of 6 squares, first chop them face to face and then sew across the pins. Seam allowances of 1 cm wide are already included in the size of the squares. Now sew one piece of cloth of 5, 4 and 3 squares. Iron the seam allowances. Stitch the rags out of the rags as shown in the photo. Iron allowances.
LAYOUT Make a paper template in the shape of an incomplete moon, the length of the base is 37 cm, the height in the highest place is 25.5 cm. Paste the template in the middle of the cloth from the shreds.Cut out the part.

CHIPPING THE DETAILS Cut out the template for the back of the heating pad and 2 pieces of batting. Place the patchwork part face-down on the batting part. Tape the pom-pom tape along the rounded edge onto the front of the patchwork piece so that the pompoms are on the patchwork piece. Place the part for the reverse side of the heating pad face to face on the piece of shreds, on it lay the part of batting. Chip off all the layers. Sew all the details along the rounded side.
LAY ON THE LINING Using the template, open 2 lining parts. Stitch the parts in a rounded cut face to face, in the middle of the arc leave a hole of approx. 10 cm. Pull the lining face-to-face over the patchwork piece so that the lower sections align. Chop and grind the lower slices. Turn the heating pad with the lining out and manually sew the hole in the middle of the seam with small stitches.
DECORATE Put a lining in a heating pad. Wash the buttons at the intersection of the squares of the fabric, piercing the needle through all layers to the lining. As a result, when using a heating pad, the lining will not move.
