DIY Easter baskets

Bright gift baskets made of different materials, and felt egg warmers will be a wonderful decoration for the festive table on Easter Day.

Egg warmers and felt basket

You will need:

✽white photo cardboard
✽ jar with a diameter of 13 cm
✽ orange, pink, red, green, blue feathers
✽ sisal fiber of grassy color
✽ movable eyes with a diameter of 1 cm
✽white, yellow, pink, lilac, orange, red, light green, turquoise felt for needlework

Egg Warmers

Step 1

From the sheet of motives, retake all the details of the cover, transfer to felt the appropriate colors and cut. For each cover, prepare two body parts.

Step 2

Along the rounded edge of one of the parts of the body, apply glue to a width of 5 mm. Apply another part to the part with glue, squeeze the edges and allow to dry.

Step 3

Glue the rest of felt parts, moving eyes and feathers to the body. Decorate the edges with a pearl marker and let dry.

Step 4

Paste a strip of photocardboard measuring 2.5 cm x 15 cm with white felt and glue it into a ring as a stand for an egg. Put it on a stand and put on a cover on top.

Easter felt basket

Step 1

Wrap a round jar of orange felt with a width of 6.5 cm, then pink felt with a width of 5 cm, turquoise with a width of 3.5 cm and green with a width of 2 cm.

Step 2

To handle a strip of photocardboard measuring 2.5 x 30 cm, glue it with orange felt and stick it to the basket. Cut flower petals and glue cores to them. Draw dots on them with a pearl marker and allow to dry. Stick flowers on a basket. Put sisal fiber, easter eggs and decorations in it.

Cardboard baskets

You will need:

✽ red and orange paper

Step 1

The details of the baskets should be retransmitted from the motif sheet onto transparent paper, transferred to a photographic cardboard and cut out. Draw along the lines of the folds with a barbecue stick and bend the details along the lines. Glue the baskets.

Step 2

Glue the remaining colored parts from photocardboard and paper. Glue green leaves from the inside to the yellow basket and draw veins on them with a green pencil.

Step 3

For pens, cut two strips of cardboard of different colors in size 2 x 25 cm and 2.5 x 25 cm and glue them. Stick the handles to the inside of the baskets. Using a figured hole punch, cut out the hearts and decorate the baskets with them according to the photo.

Step 4

Hang a wooden heart from a white basket on a satin ribbon, and decorate the yellow one with ladybirds. Line each basket with sisal fiber and fill with painted eggs.

Handbag basket with a heart

You will need:

White cardboard with red hearts
Ен foam heart with a diameter of 5 cm
✽ red floral paper
✽ red crepe ribbons: approx. 60 cm wide 10 mm and approx. 70 cm wide 3 mm
A string of white faux pearls
✽ chiffon white ribbon 50 cm wide 10 mm
✽4 red buttons with a diameter of 20 mm

Step 1

Reshoot and enlarge the details from the motif sheet (part of the 2x bag - one of them in mirror image, 1x bottom and 2x handle). Place the parts on cardboard with hearts and fix with tape. Use the embossing needle and ruler to mark the dotted lines. Details cut out. Sew buttons to the ends of each handle.

Step 2

Glue the details of the bag, then glue the bottom and handles. Face the handbags with a red ribbon. Cut the foam heart in half with a clerical knife, glue over with floral paper, apply the inscription with a volume marker. Glue the heart to the handbag. Glue a bow with a string of pearls to the handle.

Flower easter basket

You will need:

Yellow Polka Dot Cardboard
✽2 round cup holders
Баб paper butterfly
Green cardboard leftovers
20 green button with a diameter of 20 mm
Лента green ribbon of taffeta 60 cm wide 15 mm
См green cotton cord 50 cm in diameter 1 mm

Step 1

From yellow cardboard with polka dots cut 12 strips measuring 17 x 2.5 cm and a circle with a diameter of 10.5 cm.

On a stand for cups, arrange strips in a circle and stick them on.

Glue the second stand under the cup with the yellow circle glued on top.

Step 2

Cut two strips of 44 x 3.5 cm in size from yellow cardboard with polka dots. Glue one strip into a ring. Bend the strips glued in a circle upwards and arrange in a ring. Stick the strips to the ring, distributing them evenly.

Glue the second strip from the inside. Cut another strip of cardboard with a length equal to the volume of the basket and a width of 2 cm. Weave the strip in the middle of the basket and glue the ends together. Cut 12 petals and glue along the edge of the basket. For the handle, cut two strips 44 x 1.5 cm in size, glue with white sides and stick to the basket. On the green cardboard rectangle, write "For You", sew on a button, stick a label on the basket.

Step 3

Paint the foam heart, glue the butterfly. Tie bows, one to attach to the heart, and the second to the handle. Put flowers with a heart in the basket.
