At first, Raf Simons planned to show the collection in the open air, overlooking the sea and with flying gulls in the frame. However, downpour raged over Monaco for three days ... (What a pity - the atmosphere of the show would have been completely different, more relaxed, closer to reality!) And yet in almost all models there was an expression of this unusual mini-princedom: a combination of grace, airiness, sportiness and elegant chic.
Once upon a time, Princess of Monaco Grace Kelly, with her sophisticated sense of style, shone in Dior outfits and inspired the great designer to create her magnificent collections. Now (according to tradition) Raf Simons is connected by bonds of friendship with the princely family of Monaco. Partly for this reason, many were present at the opening of the show. celebritywhose outfits, accessories and hairstyles were vividly discussed in the press.

But now it's time to write a few words about the collection itself.

Pleasantly pleased DIVERSITY presented models: from summer dresses made of fashionable transparent fabrics and evening dresses to business trouser suits and strict summer coats. Hit - a dress made of fabrics of different colors in the form of vertical stripes cut along the oblique, and half of the dress was made of lace fabric. Princess of Monaco Charlene also appeared in a similar dress at the opening of the collection, however, the lace half of the dress was replaced with opaque fabric.
FASHION Laconicism and laconicism again. Asymmetry. There are many straight silhouettes, but not quite traditional - in almost all of these models there is a light (or even hypertrophied) emphasis on the waist. Many classic patterns made of modern fabrics. And one more thing: the “streamlining” of silhouettes, associated with the unique forms of luxury cars, an abundance of which the principality on the Cote d'Azur is famous for one of the most beautiful parts of France.
Details: combination of incongruous: lace and romantic silhouettes, plus a large metal zipper, sometimes from top to bottom, aggressive and dynamic.
ESPECIALLY FASHIONABLE SUMMER TRENDS 2014 Cropped tops combined with wide trousers of different lengths or wide skirts. Tip: such ensembles are more suitable for thin girls.
ACCESSORIES Sports-style glasses are a tribute to the style of the Principality of Monaco. (See also below "Colors").
COLORS As a rule: pastel shades as basic plus bright, but not neon-intrusive, but rather rich and deep. The combination of very large floral prints (sometimes only one flower fits on the front of the dress) and wide stripes located in different directions.
Unusual colors were chosen for accessories - in addition to lacquer-neon colors, many shoes and bags showed bright prints - floral, geometric and abstract.
