This celebratory tree can become a universal find as a handmade gift for an anniversary, wedding, birthday. It is enough to creatively change the details of jewelry.
Master Class puppet artist Elena Vasilyuk will tell you how to make an original Christmas tree that will decorate your home.
You will need: ● Plastic pot (diameter 12 cm); ● red fabric (25 x 25 cm); ● floristic foam "oasis" (sold by briquettes) or dense foam; ● plastic or cardboard tube, 25 cm, diameter approx. 2.5 cm (base from a roll of foil or paper towels); ● green satin ribbon, 5 m, width 5-6 cm; ● Christmas toys, 25 pcs.; ● nuts and cones, 10 pcs.; ● glue gun; ● PVA glue; ● gold acrylic paint; ● brush; ● stapler; ● toothpicks;
● cutter; ● scissors; ● sisal (from the arsenal of florists).
1. We wrap the pot with cloth, put foam inside (cut the desired shape from the briquette).
2. We wrap the tube with tape, previously securing it with a gun at the base. We cut off the remainder.
3. We immerse the tube in an "oasis". We paint the cones and nuts with gold, insert one toothpick one by one.
4. From a sufficiently large piece of foam we form a crown - we cut off the corners. We plant it on the trunk.
5. We take out the pendants from the toys, fill the “neck” with glue from the gun, insert the toothpicks.
6. We cut the ribbon by 20 cm, fasten each piece with a stapler into a bow (just fold it three times). Glue a toothpick in the middle.
7. Toothpicks with toys, cones, nuts are dipped in PVA glue and evenly decorate the crown.
8. We fill the spaces between toys, cones and nuts with bows, dipping toothpicks in glue as well.
9. We cover the "soil" with sisal (or other suitable material: tinsel, rain, serpentine).
