CANDLESTICK

Silk paper, wallpaper glue, transparent film and a little patience - that's all that is needed for these original buds in the form of buds.

You will need: white silk paper; wallpaper glue; glue joiner PVA (Henkel); a glass or vase as the basis for the mold; cling film; scissors; brush.

Description of work: First, spread the wallpaper glue according to the manufacturer's instructions, mix a little wood glue and leave it to swell. Cut silk paper into strips. The length of the strips should be equal to the double height of the candlestick plus 8 cm. To later make it easier to separate the form from papier-mâché, the base for the form should be covered with cling film.

Apply glue to the strips, glue the strips to the bowl separately with an overlap. Thus, stick 4-5 layers of strips, changing their direction. This will give the bowl greater stability.

After the paper dries, carefully release the mold base and remove the food strip.

FLOWER NECKLACE

Circles from different types of paper gradually turn into beautiful flowers, and with the help of thin wire they can be combined into a charming wreath.

You will need: Newspapers white silk paper; tracing paper; white writing paper; nippers and pliers; pencil; scissors; wire for flowers.

Description of work: From all types of paper cut circles of different sizes. In our flowers, the diameter of the paper circles is approx. 2-8 cm.

Tip: Use an egg stand, a wine glass, or a goblet as a template.

Cut a few circles in the shape of a flower or fringe along the edges of the circles. For stalks, cut lengths of approx. Approx. 15 cm. For the middle of the flower, screw a pair of small wire loops tightly following each other with one pair of pliers into one end of the wire.

Lay a few circles on top of each other, aligning the middle, and pierce the end of the wire in the direction from top to bottom. Form paper circles around the wire into a flower, while under the middle of the flower, crush the circles and wrap them tightly with another piece of wire.

For the base of the necklace, interconnect 3-4 sections of wire of the desired length and connect into a ring. Paper flowers to fix in a necklace a wire stalk.

YOU WILL NEED: 48 sheets of silk paper, scissors, a ruler, a pencil and a white cord for tying.
STEP 1

Cut the paper into sheets 55 x 27 cm in size, lay on top of each other
6 sheets each and markup at 5 cm intervals.
STEP 2

Fold the sheets of paper into the accordion according to the marking (= strip).
STEP 3

Cut the ends of the strips on both sides to a corner.



STEP 4

Tie each strip tight in the middle, cut the ends of the cord close to the knot.
STEP 5

Lay all the connected bands on top of each other in the middle with offset and tightly bandage. Leave the ends of the cord free. With their help, you can then hang a flower.
STEP 6

Stretch the ends of the "accordions" so that the chrysanthemum becomes magnificent.
