Quilted fabrics or lining materials with insulation, single or double-sided stitches - today the choice is really wide. But at the same time, you can always complete the stitch yourself.
The finished quilted fabric, of course, facilitates the cutting of parts and speeds up the work. But if you do not like the color, quality of the material or insulation that the manufacturer used for a particular stitch, there is a simple way to do your own stitching of the main or lining fabric.
If you are doing the stitch yourself, it is best to sew each part individually, because it is more than difficult to sew a piece of fabric or the entire lining at home.

Step 1. Markup
On all the details of the cut, mark the lines of the seams of the sewing of the volumenfliz (stitch line).
And then translate the stitch lines to the front of the cut parts with large quick-stitch stitches.
In this case, the stitch lines should coincide with each other at all seams (side, at the seams of the sleeves, etc.).
The distance between the lines should be 10-15 cm.
The distance between the stitch lines less than 10 cm reduces the warming properties of volumenfliz (or any other insulation).
The distance between the stitch lines more than 15 cm will lead to sagging of the insulation and its deformation.
Step 2. Cutting the volumeumen
Cut out parts from volumenfliz in the same way as parts from the main fabric.
Step 3. Duplicate the details of the cut with volumenfliz
Attach parts from volumenfliz with long pins (for quilting) to the wrong side of the corresponding parts from the main fabric.
Between the drawn lines of lines with large oblique basting stitches, sweep the volumenfliz, while starting in the middle of the part and continuing at the top and bottom.
Stitch the details of the cut on the front side along the marked transverse lines (stitch lines) with large stitches.
If necessary, loosen the thread tension.
Pre-try on a flap of fabric.

Tip
✂ If volumenfliz (or any other insulation) is quite plump, then cutting parts out of it is best done as follows:
✂ Lay Volumenfliz in a single layer on a flat surface.
✂ On top of the volumeumen, place the details of the cut from the main fabric face up.
✂ Pin them with patchwork pins, and then sew as described in Step # 3.
✂ Cut volumenfliz with larger allowances than parts from the main fabric.
✂ Follow the stitch lines as described in Step # 3.
✂ Build duplicate parts by cutting off excess volumeumen flies around the edges.
For all of the models below, you can sew the base or lining fabric yourself:
