A veil, a hair hoop or a wedding bouquet - all these nice little things are easy to do with your own hands!
Instead of a veil - a glamorous decoration with luxurious ostrich feathers and rhinestones.
You will need: Narrow hair hoop; 3 large ostrich feathers (approx. 35 cm long); 5 smaller feathers (approx. 12 cm long) in different shades of white; 3 oval crystals for sewing on (Swarovski Elements 3210, size 16 x 11 cm, crystal 001); white felt flap; threads for sewing.
Description of work: From a felt, cut a circle with a diameter of 4 cm. Stitch the large feather stems together on a felt circle. Top with smaller feathers, sew on. Sew crystals near one another. To fix a circle from felt on a hoop.
Veil
The hair hoop is covered in satin and decorated with a large chiffon flower, a small veil and rhinestones.
You will need: Hoop for hair (satin); tulle flap with chiffon flowers (see model 129); a tulle flap measuring 20 x 60 cm; sticky rhinestones of pale pink and bright pink flowers with a diameter of 4 and 6 mm; glue for rhinestones; threads for sewing.
Description of work: From a tulle flap with chiffon flowers, cut one large flower with a diameter of 15 cm and 3 small flowers with a diameter of 7 cm; sew a large flower onto the hoop so that it protrudes back to approx. 3 cm. Cut the flower behind at a distance of 1 cm from the edge of the hoop.Arrange small flowers on a cut of a large flower (slightly overlapping) and sew. Lay one long section of tulle with folds up to a length of 10 cm. Place this section under a large flower and sew it by hand. Glue rhinestones to the tulle.
Bridal bouquet
On a styrofoam-covered fabric base brooches sparkle, feathers sway and artificial flowers flaunt.
You will need: Styropor hemisphere with a diameter of 16 cm; wooden handle for a bouquet with a diameter of 2 cm and a length of 15 cm; a flap of white cotton fabric measuring 50 x 50 cm; a piece of lace fabric measuring 40 x 40 cm; different lace ribbons 50 cm long; a flap of silk; OK. 30 brooches (Bijou Brigitte); beads; silver wire; artificial flowers; feathers; glue for wood; white tape; threads for sewing.
Description of work: On the bottom side of the styrofoam hemisphere, mark the middle. Drill a hole for the handle 7 cm deep. The diameter of the hole should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the handle so that it fits snugly. Lubricate the drilled hole with glue and insert the handle into it. Leave the glue to dry completely.
From a cotton fabric, cut a circle with a diameter of 50 cm. Pick up a section of the circle manually at a distance of 3 cm, until the thread of the sewing seam is tightened tightly. Put the circle on the hemisphere, tighten the thread of the seam sewing and fasten, evenly distributing the assembly. Wrap a piece of fabric at the top of the handle with threads. Wrap the handle with a white ribbon. Place the lace on the hemisphere and pin, while the lower cut of the lace is laid with folds and sewn.Cut the lace at a distance of approx. 2 cm below the hemisphere edge, wrap the section over the edge and sew on. Attach brooches to the hemisphere. Beads (individually and in pairs) are strung on pieces of wire, twist the ends of the wire and stick into a hemisphere. Sew artificial flowers and feathers. From a silk flap, tear off a strip 2 cm wide and 50 cm long and tie it together with lace ribbons on the handle.
