Cloth degrade - halftone game

You can call this effect and the "gradient", but the "degradation" sounds more beautiful and somehow more French.

Invented a long time ago again in demand, and sounds much more serious. Once the clothing of young rebels was transformed into chic variations of evening dresses for socialites. Degrade (from French de grad) - smooth transition of color from one tone to another. Such techniques have been used in fashion since time immemorial both in clothes and shoes. And accessories: handbags, scarves, belts, belts, gloves and hats - with overflow from light to dark, always decorated a woman’s, and sometimes a man’s wardrobe. But of course, the degrade gained tremendous popularity in the 70s of the last century. Hippy youth joyfully wore things as if burnt or carelessly colored. And T-shirts in our country were made by ourselves - knotted with threads, cooked in paint ...
The effect of degradation is achieved in different ways: they apply fabrics dyed with a transition tone, apply materials of a different shade or use a printed pattern. Halftone has become fashionable to play on leather and furs. Now it is allowed to mix close colors (for example, swamp and brown), and not just shades.
And today the degrade does not look sloppy at all, it is rather a sign of high style, elegant chic.
Degrade will give ease and moderate frivolity even to a business suit. And it will add harmony to the figure if you place the dark tone in the center.But the lines of the dress should be as simple and concise as possible so as not to make the image vulgar and bulky.
